I’ve got nothing against Tom Katt aka David Papaleo personally. He seems like a nice enough, fella. After his religious conversion, he’s surprisingly tolerant of his past life and homosexuality in general. The problem with me is that he epitomizes my hatred of steroids, or the excessive use of them, in homo porn. I’ll admit that there are some stars that I like such as Billy Herrington, Bull Stanton, Erik Rhodes, Jake Gianelli, etc. who obviously juice up. I love muscles, but not to the point where you look a human refrigerator, or the Michelin Tire Man. Steroids deform the jaw and make the skin look dry and leathery. They also give you “bitch tits†as you can see in this picture. I liked Tom Katt/Thom Payne in his first early films that he did for Fox Studio and Catalina. He was quite a hottie. It’s a tragedy that some other porn hotties such as Caesar, Matt Cole, Chad Connors, and Chris Wide, also vandalized their bodies this way. The early bodybuilders before steroids like Steve Reeves, Ed Fury, Gordon Scott, Jack Thomas, Reg Lewis, Reg Parks, and Helmut Riedmeier, etc. were so beautiful. Their muscles flexed sensuously. Steroids really are a scourge. If I were dictator of the world, I would immediately ban steroids, tattoos, piercings, nude sunbathing, long hair, ponytails, faggy haircuts, bad plastic surgery, breast implants, bush shaving, and thong bikini tan lines. : )
