He was still sort of in vogue when ‘American Gigolo’ came out, and there was a Blueboy story or something, some interview with him, I guess. He said ‘But I AM Julian’, I can’t remember whether he thought he should do the part or just make the point that he lived like that.
I saw Gere on the street, Hudson I think, he lived on W 10th then, now is in that big palatial strange thing also down here, lots of pastels on the exterior, something to do with Julian Schnabel. In any case, he was ‘escorted’ by two guys, looked tough–but I still at first thought it was Johnny Harden.
He’s actually as ‘grower’ not a ‘shower’, and I’ve seen photos of him at Large Penis Support Group where he’s got quite a big cock–not as big as Harden’s, but still quite voluptuous. Do you remember that gorgeous photo of Johnny in that Playgirl spread something like 30 years ago? He was already well-known in homosexual porn, but it was a delicious surprise to see him sitting on the bed showing off his perfectly balanced Prick. He was by far the best looking of the models; I even framed the picture, put it on the wall for a few years. Never heard from him again after early-mid-80s.
