{"id":3875,"date":"2021-03-08T14:18:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-08T19:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bjland.ws\/wordpress\/?p=3875"},"modified":"2024-03-09T12:22:01","modified_gmt":"2024-03-09T17:22:01","slug":"not-so-strange-places","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bjland.ws\/wordpress\/2021\/03\/08\/not-so-strange-places\/","title":{"rendered":"(not so) Strange Places"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/strange_places_manhole_05.jpg\" title=\"\" vspace=\"\" hspace=\"\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>Strange Places&#8230; Strange Things!<\/p>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><video src=\"https:\/\/bjland.ws\/movie\/Strange_Places_preview.mp4\" controls=\"\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" width=\"660\" height=\"390\"><\/video><\/center><\/p>\n<p>Director:  <a href=\"https:\/\/bjland.ws\/directors\/al_parker.html\" target=\"_window\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Al Parker<\/a>    (1985)<br \/>\nstarring: David Ashfield, Derrick Stanton, Scott Taylor, Ivan, Melchor, Michael Charles, Rydar Hanson,  Tony Kennedy<\/p>\n<p>pretty much 4 unrelated &#8220;loops&#8221; &#8211; except they are tied together by being located in &#8220;Strange Places&#8221; &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> Manhole &#8211; David Ashfield and  Michael Charles portray two maintenance men working in the sewer (and on each other!)<\/li>\n<li> Scott Taylor plays a delivery guy with a damaged package, and customer Ivan won&#8217;t accept the package (of vacuum pumps) until it&#8217;s examined properly &#8211; the &#8220;strange place&#8221; is Ivan&#8217;s living room<\/li>\n<li> Melchor  plays doctor to Rydar Hanson.<\/li>\n<li> Derrick Stanton and Tony Kennedy do it on a scaffold high in the air.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I love Al&#8217;s dry narration &#8211; but it doesn&#8217;t seem to match what we&#8217;re seeing! The music is great, by Red Wedding &#8211; wonder if<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.darkentriesrecords.com\/\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dark Entries Records<\/a> is considering working on a re-release (or likely, a first release) of Red Wedding&#8217;s music?<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/strange_places_VHS_03.jpg\" title=\"\" vspace=\"5\" hspace=\"5\" border=\"0\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gayeroticvideoindex.com\/V\/0\/14320.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gay erotic video index<\/a> listing<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Strange Places&#8230; Strange Things!
