So little in the press at this point, rather astounding. I found out via FACEBOOK, a post from <a href=\"https:\/\/vinegarsyndrome.com\/products\/bijou\" target=\"_window\" title=\"Vinegar Syndrome\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vinegar Syndrome<\/a>, who did great reissues of <i>Boys In The Sand, Bijou, <\/i> and <i> Bible!<\/i>; along with a combo reissue of <i> Moving! <\/i> and <i>Take One<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/WakefieldPoole_drummer.JPG\" title=\"from Drummer, issue #27\" hspace=\"\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>my <a href=\"https:\/\/bjland.ws\/directors\/poole.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wakefield Poole<\/a> page<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/poole_camera.jpg\" title=\"\" hspace=\"\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>I met him  <a href=\"http:\/\/weblog.bjland.ws\/2002\/06\/wakefield-poole-so-i-actually-met-man.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"I actually met the man!\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">way back in 2002<\/a> &#8211; during a retrospective of his work called <i>Reflecting Poole<\/i> at Anthology Film Archives &#8211; I was so excited, and wanted everyone to go, so I even made a <a href=\"http:\/\/bjland.ws\/pornstars\/poole.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">schedule<\/a> of showtimes, having just learned how to do html &#8220;tables&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>and I met    <a href=\"http:\/\/weblog.bjland.ws\/2009\/06\/bthere-or-bsquare-join-author-jeffrey.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"bthere or bsquare\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">him again in 2009<\/a> at a talk at the LGBT Community Center in NYC, and he politely pretended he remembered meeting me years earlier at Anthology, when I gushed at him about his work, and how happy I was that he was leaving his collection there where it would actually get his work SHOWN again to the public&#8230; sigh&#8230; not good at these things&#8230; obits&#8230;. but had to acknowledge in a small way his passing<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/bijou_poole_flyer.jpg\" title=\"BIJOU\" hspace=\"\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/drummer27_01.jpg\" title=\"from Drummer, issue #27\" hspace=\"\"><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apparently, Wakefield Poole passed away on Wednesday the 27th.
