An official selection of nearly two-dozen international film festivals including BFI Flare and Outfest, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ask-any-buddy.com\/about\" target=\"_window\" title=\"ASK ANY BUDDY website\" rel=\"noopener\">ASK ANY BUDDY  <\/a> is a funny, sexy portrait of urban gay life in the years following the Stonewall Riots \u2013 or at least how it looked in the movies.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>how embarrassing &#8211; I don&#8217;t see any reference to this film on this here rambling blog!  (must be jealousy&#8230;combined with laziness, or that dang &#8220;drafts folder&#8221;!) &#8211; anyhow, New Yorkers, if you haven&#8217;t seen this, you should &#8211; and try to do a double feature with one of the other featured film during this rare porn fest (now, do I have opinions on porn movies shown in theaters without backrooms, gloryholes, or other type dark crevices for friendship building? I do. yes, yes, i do. &#8211; but another time)<\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/files.bjland.ws\/blog\/Turned_On_100.jpg\" title=\"TURNED ON\" vspace=\"1\" hspace=\"1\"><\/center><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve never seen any of these on the big screen, I highly recommend seeing all of them; if that&#8217;s not possible, of course the headliner, <i>ASK ANY BUDDY,<\/i> plus at least Al Parker&#8217;s <i>Turned On<\/i>, <a href=\"https:\/\/gayeroticvideoindex.com\/video\/14208\" target=\"_window\" title=\"A la recherch\u00e9 de Douglas\" rel=\"noopener\">  <i>Headtrip<\/i> <\/a> (which I don&#8217;t believe I&#8217;ve ever seen), and <a href=\"https:\/\/gayeroticvideoindex.com\/video\/49793\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">  <i>10:30PM MONDAY  <\/i> <\/a> (which I never really got interested in because Bijou Video had some COLT imagery on the cover, which I knew was wrong&#8230; ) but I digress. <i>The Night Before<\/i> I&#8217;ve actually seen there at Anthology (2001), and they do have these porno programs from time to time &#8211; check out my attempt at some form of ancient html back in 2002 for the <a href=\"https:\/\/bjland.ws\/pornstars\/poole.html\" target=\"_window\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener\"> <i>Reflecting Poole<\/i> &#8211; June 19-23, 2002  <\/a> Wakefield Poole series. I&#8217;m rambling&#8230;but oooh, just took a peak at <i>10:30pm,<\/i> and that would be my priority!
