Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your

Not the best scans, but couldn’t pass up the ‘stache! That outfit needs something substantial to balance it out, and we got it not just with the stache. So, is this Coe, or Cole ? Photography by Matthew E. Newman (Alfred’s brother) from the April 1987 issue of Mandate.

I love Mr Faulkner, but I had forgotten about this Roman-themed photo spread. His mustache is truly spectacular! How did he eat with that? I usually stay clean-shaven, but this year I have been sporting a beard. I got lazy for a couple of months and started getting compliments so I am keeping it for now. I kind of hate it though. Much more up-keep is required and after I eat it doesn’t feel clean around my mouth. I can’t imagine having a ‘stache that huge.

That said, I love it on him, and if I saw a man with something similar while out in public my tongue would fall out of my mouth. My favorite thing about Coe/Cole (aside from his body) is the story about how he claimed he was descended from royalty.

I was gonna say, but I thought others might say eww. All the saliva. Other fluids possibly. ‘Stache hair and ass hair blending. And blow jobs! All the spit. Yummy

That could very well be a walrus mustache! A beard on the upper lip! What a fine example of one!

Maybe that’ll be the next big trend in facial hair? Retro trend I mean. Re-trend? But I’d love it. Women would hate it. I hope it happens. For this MO-vember!
