I love that kind of meta shit- a guy perusing a dirty magazine *in* a dirty magazine which I’m now perusing. Well, I’m perusing on a blog. It’s meta. Trust me.
Thanks for sharing these! The sauna image is great. That’s not actually JDC taking the photo inside the photo is it? I try to keep a likeness of all the directors and photographers, not easy, and I don’t have a photo of him. He’s the only one not naked. But he’s so young.

yes, francs. I have no idea what Cadinot looks like, so who knows?
It would be cool if it was him, but I think it’s more likely that’s it a model.
I know of two photos of JDC online, both were taken in the 00s so rather late in his life. One is on his wikipedia article and the other is here:
I’m not always very good at identifying people in photos, especially once they’ve become older or if their features have changed for some reason. But the nose does look pretty similar between these later pics, and the one of the guy in the visor above. If the above pics are from 1978 then he would have been mid 30s (assuming his d.o.b. on wikipedia is correct).
Trivia about the pic at the link above, “by François Orenn”. He supplied the musical score in many of Cadinot’s movies from the 80s at least if not longer, sometimes using his own name. But often using the alias Myriam Zadeck. I think I read somewhere that he used a woman’s first name on purpose to conceal or create distance between his legit music career, and the porn work. Accomplished musician who has releases under his own name and also worked on non-porn film scores and other endeavors.
