The Leo Ford and T.J. Stryker images are magnificent. And quite beautifully nostalgic as well – capturing a joyful time in my life, freshly out and ebullient – joyfully and unabashedly enjoying gay porn for the first time.

These are all terrific, each in their own way.
I’m gonna focus on the guy in the middle- the Champion model with the striped undies. Very late 1960s or ’70s? It almost looks like he’s wearing them backwards! And they perfectly display his bulge. What I love about him is the pose, and all the perfect scruff, and his genuine but slightly imperfect smile. And the electrical outlet and plug in the bottom right corner also adds something. It’s less polished. And one of the things I like about some of the physique photographers of the 60s and 70s who had to use their own homes as studios. It adds character.
