Eric Stone, photos by Cityboy (Stanley Steller) – originally my post was gonna be a bit silly/catty about “good way to hide your trimmed pubes” – but I actually like these photos, from earlier in his porn career (1991).

Normally I would not post a pic with a watermark – but trying my best to give credit to photographers more recently, and this particular photo just above and just below by Stanley Steller (it’s a link to a short documentary – Stanley Stellar: Here for This Reason which I have not yet watched) and the other’s in this op series I really like, and didn’t want to bother looking for something without the mark.

What a beautiful man. So handsome and deeply masculine in appearance. Just kind of perfect if you like that kind of look. Which I very much did and still do. He was a breath of fresh air at that time with his not-fashionable-at-the-time mustache. And those smoldering eyes. I thought he was almost too perfect.
I feel like he was rarely ever with a scene partner who was as hot as he was. I would’ve loved to have seen him paired with someone like Jake Andrews or Trent Reed. He was in a few films alongside Jake Taylor but never in a scene together. I think they were both tops anyway. They were so strict about that in the ’90s. Guys got typecast as tops or bottoms regardless of whether that’s what they enjoyed in real life. I think versatility is super hot.
I love him on the box cover of “Ranger in the Wild.” Which you chose to put in the post! Just now actually looking at the photos you posted. They are great ones. Very cool that they are Stanley Stellar. Wou wouldn’t necessarily guess that Cityboy = Stanley Stellar. I would have loved to see some in his earlier style, shot on location somewhere. But I guess things were a little more polished in the ’90s. Also, I guess the monthlies often wanted a style that was more studio oriented with the professional lighting.
I barely noticed the watermark. I wouldn’t have if you hadn’t mentioned it. I always want to be aware of the photographer, but I prefer no watermark for photos in my personal collection. This doesn’t really bother me. You know what is a real pet peeve? Back when we first started digitally scanning mags and photographs, some guys would put a watermark or icon crediting them as the scanner, as though that’s a thing. I get wanting to have credit for doing the work (I really get that). But I look back and just find that so annoying. All you did was scan it! And now the photo (sometimes the only photos I have of a model) has an ugly mark on it that no one even knows what it means. I used to photoshop them out, but don’t have patience (or software) for that anymore. I probably need to let it go. Talk about silly/catty. BTW, I do think that was a good way to hide his crotch topiary. His dick was big enough- no trimming needed! Another pet peeve! And people are still doing it! Thankfully not everyone. And then there’s the guys these days who just are totally smooth. They’ve shaved their whole area. But not any other part of their body. Why? Alright, enough complaining.
Thanks for this great tribute to Mr Stone.
Actually, the “Ranger in the Wild” cover photo you posted is not the one I was thinking of. It’s the one where’s he completely naked. You can see it on GEVI…

Also, GEVI says he is uncut. I don’t remember that or see it in his photos. I think that’s a dick typo.
His real name was Roger John Zellner according to my notes.
I’m infatuated again!
