1974? No kidding! According to a Google search, that was the year that Lou Thomas and Jim French parted ways and Lou started Target. Barry (Hoffman) must have been one of his earliest models. It’s a testament to the power of these vintage icons that you can still recognize them even when they’re wearing dark sunglasses, or when their faces are obscured or shadowed. Or even know who they are by their singular names.

don’t know if you can tell from your screen, but even the quality of the paper was superior then – nice, thick, hefty pages……
