Wow, was it really seven years ago, when I first replied? Where did the time go? Glad this post; isn’t crowded. I can now bloviate. : )
As the JC meme continues, I want to now, concentrate on his association with Bruce Morgan, and In Touch Magazine. They all tie in together! As I’ve said before:
“I’m a bit of a muscle queen myself, so I previously mentioned that Cassidy and Morgan; traveled in the same bodybuilder circle, that included Ric Drasin aka Jean Claude, Roger Callard aka Stacy, Bob Birdsong aka Bob Wren, and of course, Ken Sprague aka Dakota.”
“They all worked out Gold’s Gym, and posed for Colt Studio. With the exception of Cassidy, they all appeared in the muscle-fest porn film, “Loadstar (1973)”.
“After Jim Cassidy retired from gay porn, for a number of In Touch magazine issues; he wrote a bodybuilding/exercise, advice column. He used Bruce Morgan for his photo demonstrations.”
Since then, I’ve discovered that Rhett Baron; was also in the Cassidy / Morgan circle. Below you can read; that it included David Carter, as well. Thank you once again BJ honey, for introducing me to Baron; via his Colt pictures, with Morgan. : )

After Cassidy left In Touch, David Carter continued with at least one “Body” column, in the April/May 1975 Issue #17.
The David Carter publication, “Man To Man” from 1980, was pretty explicit. Why didn’t Cassidy and Morgan, appear in an actual porn film, together – too expensive? What a missed opportunity! Here’s Morgan’s mouth, and Cassidy’s dick!
He interviewed both Cassidy and Dakota separately; for In Touch magazine, in 1974 and 1975. He was responsible for that notorious quote: “the Nelson Eddy and Jeanette MacDonald of the gay films,” that he used in both interviews – Damn him! He thought that was so clever – low camp!
That stupid quote; is now used in both of their Wikipedia, Bio Profiles! Jesus, what are you going to do? Both of them deserve better. : /
Anyway, here’s Jim Cassidy’s interview; from the August/September 1975 issue, of In Touch Magazine #19: Pages 50-53. The cover features Paul Barresi – Collector’s Item! Thank you again, zephyr-breezy!
Incidentally, the picture of Barresi on the left; is out of whack – strange continuity. It’s been shrunken to fit upright. As a centerfold, it supposed to occupy pages 48 & 49, horizontally.
Yes, the pictures are familiar. But at least, it’s the original! I’ve always been a purist! : )
