But I clearly recall this favorite scene, and I just found it on my harrdrive, in a sorta hidden folder. Checked, never posted, and the reason is clear – this 8-minute (partial) scene was 1.1 gigabytes! Bandwidth was much more expensive back then – can you imagine how long it would’ve “buffered”? Ah I see, just wondering about that part, no worries. When I was making those yt videos I noticed that no matter what the source clip looked like, if you save something in HD then it makes the clip look and sound at least a little better, but also makes the file size MUCH larger. And you’re right (especially before) about how prohibitive very large files are for sharing online, let alone even just saving.
My experiences in actual T-rooms is pretty limited but I have been in the situation where the sound of someone coming in causes everyone involved and/or watching to scurry into a booth or in front of a urinal or sink, and try to look like they’re just peeing or fixing their hair. THANK YOU for mentioning “Hot Pursuit”, which I had somehow never seen! The extensive shooting at Blow Buddies was phenomenal, as it’s where I would spend nearly every night while in SF. And that it featured Jason Andrews, who as luck would have it (and I was incredibly lucky) was the last guy I blew there in the fall of 2019 (Jason was then mid-50s and just as handsome)! Buddies sadly shuttered for good in early 2020 and this film is a great way to remember the good times I had there.

One thing I was trying to figure out, when I was there (would have been 94 or 95 cuz I went to SF both those years) I don’t remember it being like a bathhouse as depicted in the movie, where they give you a locker, a key and a towel and you’d strip down.
