I feel like Johnny is going to know more about this when he swings back through. I don’t remember when but he and I had a convo in the comments here before, talking about a mag I have a copy of called 4-Play. But it’s different than the pics here, and he was saying there were a few with that title or close to it. Don’t remember the context of that though, maybe he will if/when he sees this?

… which is a film J.W. was in as well. But J.W. only appeared in the first scene where he spanked the surfer brothers for waxing their boards when they should have been working. And that scene called Surf Punks was the only one J.W. was in from Malibu. I rewatched Malibu when I reviewed it at some point, I like the film-within-a-film angle to the plot which makes it a longer than average movie. And I feel like the Nick Rodgers-Giorgio Canali scene would have stuck out for you as they are names I’ve seen frequently here in your blog abode.
So this could have been Higgins, but I don’t think it’s Malibu (or These Bases Are Loaded either). Possibly just from print and not even filmed, alas. It would be easier if we could see face pics of any of the other guys but in most of those shots they are hard to make out.

“Pacific Coast Highway (1981)”, was the first movie I saw, with the legendary, J.W. King. In my mind, he was the star, though he isn’t billed that way. In both the movie poster and trailer, they advertised that he was a Playgirl centerfold. As a performer, he never disappoints – so enthusiastic and sensual!
The first sex scene from this movie, pairs off Mr. King, with Steven Richards – marvelous! It has a great setting! Director William Higgins also marketed this scene; as a separate loop and publication. The loop was titled, “Rock Hard”!

GEVI only lists Robert Sims, with “These Bases Are Loaded (1983)”, as his only film credit. It’s another of William Higgins’ classics! I also used to own the publication – also hot! The orgy was endless! : P

I can’t identify the last blond, anywhere – complete mystery! That’s a hot image of him, being rimmed by J.W., in the fourth picture down – b & w! He’s about to suck off J.W., in the first picture – color!
As I’ve said before. The films of William Higgins weren’t much, in terms of film technique or style – very amateurish! He pretty much learned on the job – almost like cinéma vérité.
But what they lacked in sophistication, they made up in spontaneity and humor! (“Wow, you give great head! That’s just fantastic!”) He stumbled his way, into creating a distinct look and legacy. : D
The films barely had plots; just a sloppy motif, to connect the scenes for continuity. Most of the images could be interchangeable, from one film to the other. I sometimes have trouble, identifying the exact movie’s title. Many blur in my mind.
Higgins used a lot of film. He would sometimes use extra footage, for a different film intended.
From this porn setting, I’m absolutely sure; this was filmed or photographed, at the same time and place, where the “Rock Hard” loop occurred. I recognize the rocks, trees, and most importantly, the stream – refreshing!
Maybe this was only photographed, and never filmed – intentional? Could it also have been featured, in the “Ambushed!” magazine? I can’t find it being used, in any filmed porn sequence.
It was used however, for dishonest reasons – Tsk Tsk!
We all know how corrupt and inept, Bijou Video can be – shameless! They actually used images from this Higgins’ work; to advertize “Seven in a Barn (1971)”, by J. Brian – appalling! Hello?! Where’s the barn?! : |
