Last spring you may remember I posted about Joe Hardee; well, actually Glen Armstrong – but Joe Hardee was his Old Relable name, and once I found some video of him doing his thing for Mr. Hurles, I set out to do a post – and, guess, dear readers! Yes, languished in my drafts folder until today, when I got wind of a very cool Substack post – David Hurles: The Outlaw Who Invented Rough-Trade Porn by Kelvin Blunt (OK, the author emailed me) – and rather than wait til I get around to finishing the article and posting about it, this was a good chance to post this video, and get some of you Old Reliable fans to check out the piece – 1/2 way through and I’m enjoying it!
I suspect the Old Reliable tapes that Joe appears in – VT-15, VT-30, and VY-229 – are all the same footage? This one above? Anyone know – lemme know!

I love Old Reliable. So many hot tradesmen, rough ones too. Wink wink. See what I did there? Rough trade? Right? I guess if you have to explain it, it’s not that good a joke. Sigh.
I used to think the ubiquitous sofa and the living room set made it all a little crude, but now I like it. It’s raw.
