I typically do the end-around – or is that reach-around? – way of searching your blog, open up a search engine (ddg is my preference) and then type something in quotes, followed by site-colon-your url. And I’ve noticed for a while now that some of what comes back isn’t based on anything you said in your posts, but rather from a comment by you, me or another visitor. So yes I think comments are somehow included in those no matter how one gets to them.
As for 500 zephyr results in your image, damn! I know you’ve been a regular stop for my online journeys for years, and long after other blogs I used to frequent have either gone away, or lapsed into auto-bot link production. Joemygod has been that way for years now, he may write something but nowhere near as often as he used to, but I believe he’s got some way of scouring for (mostly if not all SFW) content and leaving links to it. I even remember what I refer to as version 1.0 of your blog, before you even turned comments on – and I think it even took you a few months to do so on the current version once you made the switch.
I’m grateful to have learned so much from you, despite my long-winded comments at times and occasional pestering (that’s what friends are for, right? Sing it Dionne) and am also glad you’ve persevered in the blogging realm with your own areas of expertise.

It never occurred to me to search BJLand via the reach-around (I like that) the way Zephyr does, starting with a search engine. I’ve definitely searched on a vintage performer/film and had BJLand come up as the only relevant results. That’s fine, but it’s always when I want info from another source. I have some learning to do, I guess. I always just use Google.
I used to see a small magnifying glass with a search box here on the blog, I haven’t seen that for a while though. I figure it’s there it’s just hidden to me for some reason, like maybe an extension I run within my browser. And ever since BJ taught me the reach-around method (I’ll let you draw your own picture in your head, heh heh) I just stick to that when I want to search what’s here. But I’ve experienced what you describe also, type a name on a search engine, put the words ‘gay porn’ after the name in quotes, and this blog will be among the only hits – especially if it’s someone more on the obscure end.

I think that’s where I used to see it but not anymore – again, for me anyway but maybe others can find it there? What I see…

And I seem to remember an actual search bar, maybe near the bottom and in the center? I only come here on desktop and via chrome, and I run a few extensions which could be why it doesn’t show up for me. Adblock Plus (though I’ve never seen ads here, bless you for that BJ) and a few that block unwanted scripts and the like. Though the original uBlock Origin doesn’t work on chrome anymore and I had to replace that one with uBlock Lite which is a similar concept, but doesn’t work as well as the first one did. Original uBlock still works on firefox though but I have designated chrome as my ‘porn browser’ so to speak.
It’s no big deal, I’m glad to know the reach-around method of searching here and that works very well.
hmmmmpf! I’ve looked via several browsers, including mobile versions (for phone and tablet) and I see the magnifying glass icon, and the word “search” just underneath; click the word or icon, and search bar opens up for you to type – the only difference I see is that in the mobile versions the search is on the left, not the right of “bj’s gay porno-…blah blah”
I’m worried that you used to see it, and now can’t! can anyone else chime in here, please?

I’m glad to know you’re getting similar results. It’s so surprising to me that there isn’t more to be found about older lesser-known models, performers and films. Or even some of the bigger names. It’s the internet right? It’s massive. I guess you just have to figure out how to find what you want. Sometimes I try various different key words trying to narrow it down. Maybe I could find a book on how to search the internet? Imagine that. A book. Nah, just Google it. Hah!
Actually, I read every day. Just mostly fiction. But I’ve been converted to the cult of the e-reader. I never thought I would be. But it’s so much easier than lugging around a hardcover. I take a book everywhere. I was once chastised for bringing a book to my cousin’s wedding ceremony. I mean, what?! It’s not like I was gonna’ read during the vows.
I’ll keep working on searching and if I learn any new tricks I’ll share them.
