I don’t own this book, hence little details – but we can use our eyes and see this pair is Robert Vega and Brad Mason. Could it be from Hot Off The Press ?? My notes don’t show them in a scene together, but perhaps publicity shots, as they are on the VHS cover
oh wait – found the magazine they are in together – Wanna Fuck – appears to be unrelated to any movie.

I can see why you thought this might be the missing scene from Hot Off The Press, which the gevi listing alludes to. Plus having them together on the box cover but only appear in scenes with others. The paneling from a few of the film scenes looks like it has the same pattern to how wide or narrow the strips are but then again, there were tons of rooms with paneling like that back in the day. If you hung onto (or ever had) the Seducers magazine from your 2015 post you could see if they were in any shots together there.
Zephyr! 2 references to upside down suspension thingy from the ’80s in one week. Richard Gere was hanging from a pull-up bar though, wasn’t he? With the thing-a-ma-jigs around his ankles. Am I right? I can’t really remember.
Brad’s hair is different on the box cover, so I think you are both right that the book cover pic is from the mag, and may not have any related film. Too bad!
Yeah it was on the ‘John’ post from a few weeks ago, I thought he somewhat resembled a younger Richard Gere. And left a link (leaving it again below) that has images and a few clips from American Gigolo, one of which shows him hanging upside down on that bar by his ankles:

You are so good at finding these links. The George Michael video I sort of remember. I think I remember the woman in the tub. I don’t remember the guys as much. It’s pretty sexy, hunh? It’s funny what you remember and don’t remember.
