This post started out titled Eat In, Eat Out after I discovered that it was a 1981 re-ordered version of a film called The Kid from L.A. (58 minutes) – which, in turn, is a shorter version of the film Toby in L.A. (72 minutes). Also, that VHS box cover had nothing to do with the film (porno pet peeve), but likely pulled from an Ocean Pacific video. But I digress!
from what I can tell, Vinegar Syndrome released a 2k scan of Toby in LA on DVD and streaming a couple years back. Credited sometimes as a Steve Scott film, sometimes Taylor Benson (who is usually in the role of producer).

And that rabbit hole led me to “director” Rockford T. Bets, who is credited with these:
- Eat In, Eat Out
- The Interview –
- Hot Jobs – as producer
- Blue Reflections
- The Hottest Hunks in Town!!!
I say “director” because I am not confident that he actually directed anything, but perhaps re-edited some stuff for VHS release some years after a handful of films were produced.
I’m exhausted!
I suspect Mr Betts is just a generic guy who re-edited stuff for VHS releases in the early 80’s – but….. And that’s how I wind up with 50+ draft posts waiting for me to finish, because each one takes me down several rabbit roles!!!
oh, and Duff Paxton

From the preview it looks pretty hot!
Impressive rabbit hole results.
And Duff Paxton!
