Phillip’s legs are so wonderfully fuzzy!
I’m trying to remember when I first encountered Michael & Phillip- I know it was a Falcon collection on VHS, but I can’t remember which film. It might’ve been “Thrust after Thrust” from the “Weekend Lockup” collection. I know it was just them, without a third, and doing it on furniture. They complemented and contrasted each other in looks, with Michael’s dark hair and Phillip’s somewhat lighter, but had a similar build. The passion felt real. I remember noticing that they performed together a lot and reading about them being a couple (or maybe I just assumed). I also remember working on figuring out who was who, so I could create a folder for each and label it correctly. As we know they often performed with a third, but then Phillip did quite a few films without Michael also. Did Michael do many without Phillip? It’s hard to know because their model profiles on GEVI include BOTH their names, which makes it hard to use the search function to search for Michael only films. Michael did a solo film and he did at least one other with someone who wasn’t Phillip. And I think there’s one film where Phillip goes by the name “Paul,” but I made that note so long ago I don’t remember which one it was. Maybe one of the Griffin Intl films? NO, it was “Gold Coast Marine” but in the Dimension promo they list him as Paul.

which was Phillip and Bill Adams together, and it looks like the photo of Bill Adams is actually Phillip. I swear it is!

Bill Adams had much darker hair (pretty much black) and so was his mustache. And he was completely smooth-chested, while Phillip had a little scruff. Should I send Woody a photo?
Wow, I could totally go down a M & P rabbit hole. I think I just did! My notes are not as complete as I’d like, but I can’t fix that today. I’ve been neglecting BJLand, and that won’t do!

Kind of a sad post script on P & M but because you mentioned going down a rabbit hole about them – the link below goes to the B.A.R. from 31 August 1989, and it has an obit for Michael. Along with a lovely shirtless pic of him and his full, non-porn name, David Lynn Cafferty. Apparently Philip was the David Paxton mentioned who had died before then, sometime in the mid to late 80s based on referring to them having been a couple for 12 years. Both were longtime bartenders in SF at different bars, and I believe their names were mentioned at other times, for their work as well as their porn scenes. I may have left this link here before but I can’t recall that now, and in case it doesn’t take you directly to the right spot it’s on page 19:
