That second pic I linked to, the tumblr one where they are pointing, reminded me of the Simpsons with NSYNC from 15-20 years ago. There’s a scene where Lisa confronts the navy recruiter about their advertising, he says there are three kinds they use, subliminal, liminal and superliminal. When Lisa asks him what superliminal means, he opens the window, where Lenny and Carl are standing by a mailbox and shouts, “Hey you! Join the navy!” and they shrug and say ok.
