Nick Fabrini, despite being in 12+ videos (the “+” would be compilations, not listed here), doesn’t appear in a lot of magazines as far as I can see – the best is a 7-page spread in Advocate MEN‘s – May 1987 issue.

I always appreciate when you link to my reviews, which are starting to blur together in my scattered brain (as are the films themselves) after this long doing them. Which if that concept applies to you also is probably the origin of the phrase Porno-Crazed Ramblings, right? I know I also wrote up Some Men Are Bigger Than Others (which you needn’t link to just because I mention it, two is enough) without even checking because I remember segue-ing into that Smiths song and typing ‘some men’s brothers are bigger than other men’s brothers’.

I also reviewed Think Big a few years back and not long ago, ran across a very interesting scholarly article about Rodd Donovan, Rick’s supposed relation. Can’t remember if I told you about this here or not but the link is below. I sent it to Woody at gevi and he added some of the info to Rodd’s performer page. Rodd was someone I had rather dismissed based on his only porn role but a man who overcame a lot of challenges, and led a more interesting life than I had ever known about.

But about Nick, he had a distinctive look for the late 80s period but more than held his own onscreen. And a wonderfully thick piece of meat to complement his attractive smile and features. Definitely Al’s bathroom tile too from his and Steve T.’s house in L.A., great post.

Great link, Zephyr! Thanks. Such a sad story.

I think I have the same scattered brain, always did. But probably getting worse with age. There’s so much porn trivia, along with a lot of pop-culture, that is not particularly useful. It’s a lot. But fun!

Excellent profile BJ! You came up with a lot, especially the mags. I knew about the May 1987 AM spread, but not much more, and not the Manshots. I do have a couple to add, but nothing substantial. All single photos, so barely worth noting:

Advocate Men Aug 1987 – a 2 page single photo fold from the same photo shoot with the blue shirt. A reference to the May issue.

Studflix June 1989 – A single photo in B&W of Nick jerking off on a hideous couch

Advocate Men July 1989 – a single photo of Nick with Matt Johnson from their scene in Manimal on the zebra strip sheets

Stallion March 1990 – another different single photo of Nick with Matt Johnson from their scene in Manimal (in B&W)

Great video clip too. I love how Pierce Daniels’ hair and stubble in the clip make him look kind of sleazy. Such a hot man. Would’ve liked to have seen more, but I’m not sure Nick Fabrini was *up* for it. He looked great though.

Thanks BJ!

The bathroom in this clip looks like the same bathroom in the last scene of the movie One in a Billion. As soon as I watched this clip, that’s what I thought of.

As Zephyr mentioned briefly, it’s Al Parker’s bathroom in the house he shared with Steve Taylor. It appears in many of his films/videos and various photo shoots from those films. The blue tile is distinctive, isn’t it?

Good eye.
