The scene starting at 1:05, with Chad Johnson getting his furry chest rubbed down by Gino Del Mar, has interesting music – and by 1:20 the beat that starts is quite familiar to me. I know I’ve heard that before in different megamixes of 80s house / Hi-NRG / freestyle, can’t think of what it’s called.
And the scene just after that, with Max docking in the kitchen, that’s another Chad (James) who isn’t credited on that gevi page. Apparently Max and Chad James made a few films together so I don’t know where that came from but likely one of those. And -that- music was also heard in Too Big For His Britches, either at the beginning or end.
Interesting clip, I was going to ask if it was a preview or if you made this yourself but then I saw the apparent person who did on that screen at the end.
I think the Chad James/Max scene is from S.F. Packing Co.
thanks for noticing the creator of the clip – in the old days I would have cut that info out, but trying to give credit where it’s due! So I left it in, but forgot to acknowledge in the post.
Now you’ve got me wondering about the music choices!
The musical part I was talking about from the Chad Johnson scene on the beach set, plays from about 1:20 to 1:33. Possibly the part just before that too. And I did find it in the megamix I was reminded of though I still don’t know who did it or what it was called. The link below, between 35:20 and 35:35 (not sure how to timestamp it):

I never did find confirmation of all the songs from this mix but I have a list of 20 or so that I was able to figure out, saved somewhere on an external drive which I can try and track down later. That actually makes me want to see Beach Ballers to see if the entire soundtrack is mixed together with stolen dance music, maybe like Robert Prion films from the same era.

oh – on the clip – Stop, by Wake Up? (or Wake Up, by Stop?) – that I’ve never heard.
Yes, the song Wake Up is what I was wondering about – huzzah! The megamix switches between songs quickly, some only play for a few seconds while others are a minute or two (like There But For… leading into it) and then various looped sounds come back here and there. It’s a fun 80 minute mix that has been on soundcloud since 2010, I saved it long ago and it’s great as peppy background music (others mileage may vary).
I did find my list about the songs I could place on that mix (and Wake Up is even listed there but I hadn’t checked all of them yet), I can i.d. 30 of them for sure. With many more blanks but I never really sought out to figure them all out, just the ones that earwormed in my head. But that’s definitely what plays in the Uncut Dreams / Beach Ballers segment from your clip. Much obliged.
And good to know which Max / Chad James scene that docking part was from, like I said there were a few films they were both in.
