Bill Henson & Aaron Gage in Winner Takes All (1982/3) – found in FVP034 (Falcon Video Pac)

Something about this swimsuit I just really like – can’t quite put my…. oh oh – the stripes!
Oh, and here’s an important question – What would’ve happened if it was Bill who won the bet, not Aaron???

William Higgins & Matt Sterling marketed Bill Henson–Sailor in the Wild, Winner Takes All & The New Breed & A Matter of Size–brilliantly; in fact, before I watched Sailor in the Wild, I thought Bill Henson was the star, but this was not true at all. Bill Henson is in one elongated scene with Brian Thompson, the real Sailor in the Wild & catalyst for the entire film.
Bill Henson was gay for pay, although Sterling thought Henson had a gay side he kept hidden. Henson made no more gay films & the rest were recycled in compilations.
When I think of “Winner Takes All,” it reminds me (and confuses me) with any film with “winner” or “winning” in the title. But when I do remember, I think of the collection and all the films in it. Winner Takes All is a great film and I am excited to re-experience it, but my absolute from that collection was “High Voltage.” I just loved that 2-parter with the tangle of hot bodies on the transformer in the desert. And also the wild scene with Scott O’Hara and Randy Page in “Water Sports” (which oddly does not include any piss play if I remember correctly) But it does have garden hose enema play, which I had never seen before and absolutely flipped me out. I had no idea what to make of that. It’s somehow hot, and yet so bizarre, like, do I like this? Randy Page looks distinctly unhappy throughout the scene, so I was thinking “yikes.” First all that water and then Scott O’Hara’s big dick. That’s a lot to take. But pretty much unforgettable. It’s a great collection. I daresay “Winner” is the least memorable of the films. Not bad at all, just easy to forget when compared to the others.
Thanks so much for sharing the scene on it’s own! I was not a huge Bill Henson fan back long ago, but I see his appeal now for sure. I love that photo of him coming out of his swim suit. YUM!
I meant to say “High Voltage” was a favorite above, but left out the word favorite.
In answer to your question- what if Aaron Gage had won- considering that Bill Henson was g4p, he might not have wanted to bottom, and if so that’s why the scene is written the way it is.
However, I can think of a number of reportedly straight performers who seem to really like bottoming and ass play. I mean, who wouldn’t really? Especially if you have the right top, whether it’s a man or even a woman using her fingers or a toy. I think it’s the stigma of being “the girl” or the submissive in a scene which prevents a lot of men from being willing to do it. Somehow you are less a man if you bottom. That stuff is just all in our heads. I think a lot of straight couples could spice things up in the bedroom with some light ass play. Also, everybody has their preferences, and that’s fine. I think versatility is very hot, but it’s A-OK if you only want to do it one way or the other.
The stars I’m thinking of are Rusty Stevens from the 2000s, who bottomed a lot and was reportedly straight. Don’t quote me on that, I could totally be wrong. https://gayeroticvideoindex.com/performer/50404
Also, from today- Baxx is a really conscientious and open-minded guy who has been quoted as being very openly straight, but works in gay porn probably because it pays more. He almost always bottoms. He does not seem to care what people think about that. I love his attitude.

Personally, I think we should try to care less about a performer’s actual orientation and instead focus more on their performance alone.
OK, lecture finished. Again, don’t quote me on these “facts.” We can only say what we see on video. We can’t make assumptions about people’s sexuality. Or I think we shouldn’t.
Scott O’Hara’s book Autopornography is on the internet archive, you have to be logged in to read all the pages and hope it’s available. He wrote a few pages about each of the films he made in the 80s before he retired (after confirming he was poz) and I was able to transcribe part of what he said about Randy and that water hose enema scene, I left that in my review but I’ll copy it here:
“I was then told to give Randy an enema with a garden hose – the single most disgusting thing I’ve ever done on camera, I have to say. Enemas are not meant to be given with garden hoses. I mean, those brass fittings on the end are not smooth, okay? And this is COLD water we’re talking about. If I’d been on his end of the hose, I’d have walked out right then and there. After that experience, I’m not surprised he disliked me.”
All the scenes are memorable to me but if I had to pick the single moment that stands out the most, the image it’s easiest for my brain to conjure up, it would be the water squirting out of Randy’s butt.
