Francis Ellie Jack Wrangler pornoclips

boots & saddles

Director: Francis Ellie (1979? 1980? 1982?)

Starring: Jack Wrangler, Scorpio, Roy Garrett, Adam DeHaven, Chip Kingsley, Claude Caswell, Joe Ryder, Lou Ricky, Ray Poole

“there’s a plot! Jack Wrangler must track down a trick who mistakenly believes Jack gave him gonorrhea – only to wind up in the hands of “Nazi” Scorpio (thankfully, other than a swastika flag, there is nothing Nazi-ish going on, unless some spanking = Nazi); great disco soundtrack, like Dennis Parker’s New York By Night

So that’s a quote from – me! But re-reading reviews (see below), I’m thinking, was there more to the “Nazi” than the flag and some spanking – certainly the flag prominently in the background is a huge turn-off, but looks like I may need to (find the time to) re-watch this film, since it’s been decades. Menawhile, enjoy the promo clip.

previously on BJland – another clip!

VintageGayVids review – has it for 1980
letterboxd review – has it for 1982 – Casey knows a lot more about the “Francis Ellie” films; so I’d go with 1982
GEVI – has it for 1980

I remember renting this one back in the 90s, and giggling a bit at how over the top the plot was. Jack running through the streets of NYC to save Chip from that ‘bastard’ Scorpio and his nazi shrine, it was amusing but also had some decent to quite good sex scenes. And the payoff by setting a fire at the end was amusing also.

Re: the year, I’m sure I just went by what gevi had, and he’s wrong sometimes as I think he considers the year a movie was -produced- to be as important (or moreso) that the year of release. The review that I linked to on reddit, from the B.A.R. was written in 1982 so maybe it was released to theatres that year, or a re-release videotape? It was written about in an issue of Gay Times in 1981 so it must have existed prior to 82.

I’ve never seen this one, but I am vaguely familiar with it because of the whole Nazi/Scorpio thing. I remember reading about it. The title is a little misleading- you expect a cowboy film. Maybe urban cowboy or cowboy drag?

I never really understood the appeal of Scorpio, which is weird I think because I have pretty varied interests. I can usually find something to like about a performer, and I don’t dislike Scorpio, I just never understood how he was as popular as he seemed to be. He looks pretty good in his leathers though. Make’s a good neo-Nazi, which I mean as a compliment. He fits in the role? Is that a compliment? Yikes.

I definitely want to see this one, there’s obviously plenty of other great performers, particularly the ones I’m not really familiar with, such as that guy with the Wolverine-ish beard, actually 2 guys with hot beards, and Roy Garrett’s scene partner, etc. In other words, the preview looks really hot, and I wanna’ see more!

Oh, and in the preview? Chip Kingsley reminds me so much of another performer with black hair and a mustache. I know that could be a lot of guys. I almost thought Chip Kingsley was an alias for this other guy. Who is it? Damn, I can’t remember a name. Anyway, Chip Kingsley is hot. My youngest brother has a dog named Kingsley.

Thanks for the clip, BJ! It obviously gave me a lot to think about!

Hello from London, UK. I need your help to ID the two actors in ‘Vintage – Tan Lines 1983’ (on The Gay dot com). I’ve been searching online for a few years now, but so far no luck. Thank you x
