I know there are some readers who don’t care much for the pornstars who model bad 70’s clothes posts…. but I can’t hold back on this one! I only wish I had nabbed that copy of the 1974 Leather N Things catalog when it looked affordable on eBay a few weeks back. (I still see a $500 asking price for one – ouch!) “Leather’n’Things, the leather clothing store at 4079, 18th Street, on the corner of Castro and 18th Street, in San Francisco.” Gosh, actually to have the photos themselves, without the catalog verbiage…..there’s one with a gun holster (the “man’s man holster” – with gun, of course) – but his ass in jeans, a glimpse of his hairy back…. Actually, while the zippered briefs below isn’t something I could wear, he pulls them off well. I didn’t see a bad outfit in the 6 or 7 pics I’ve seen from that catalog.

alas, there are not as many Gordon Grant ass shots as you’d hope for… I’m open to seeing more, of course. The above 2 are from 1976, courtesy of Man’s Image – #2 is perhaps my all-time fave of Mr. Grant’s backside; below, of course, from COLT’s OLYMPUS #3 (1975) with Marty Palmer (who apparently did a solo photo set!) – but of course we are only getting a side view. Does Marty actually get his face in Gordon’s ass in House Boat? Has anyone on film? Somewhere on my blog I am sure the “plaid butt” Gordon picture must be, right?

Dan Donovan


From what I can tell, Dan only modeled for Target Studios, appearing in two publications – Javelin #1 , and Ramrod #3 – as well as two photosets, one solo, and one with “Jerry”. All this is from 1975. In terms of filmwork – while I was gonna “tease” GEVI for listing Dan as “Dan Donovan (80s)” (the “80’s” designation seems to happen when these films are transfered to videotape, usually in the 80’s) but I have to give him credit for noting that the 2 films listed are really one film split into two when it came out on tape – Couplet with Glen Dime (contained on Bullet Vidopac 4), and Danny Boy (contained in Bullet Videopac 3) – and I imagine these well made have been 2 solos where 1 model is imagining the other? Further investigation needed!

Not a lot of pics of Mr. Bull Dozier, having only appeared in 2 films: Up Tight! Paul Gerrior (AKA Ledermeister)

oh gosh. Many of you know I don’t usually pay much attention to personal lives of our porn stars, or the WEHT (What Ever Happened To) questions… but, a reader was kind enough to let me know that Ledermeister – Paul Gerrior, passed away last week.
