the above photos are from Male File #2 (1983) – thanks to JohnnyLlama for not only ID’ing the mystery man from Job Site, but also supplying these scans! He sent many more, and you know how I am, I like to curate, and not just post any and all. You’d be surprised just how many of those pics from Male File #2 Shawn is sticking a finger up his ass!

There are a bunch of photos of Dan/Shawn with friends at a party at The Probe in Los Angeles in 1983 (viewable in the facebook group for The Probe) — folks in the facebook group have tried to remember his name and some folks recalled that he worked at the bar in North Hollywood that was called Jobsite (maybe this moving was titled this as some kind of marketing???) and that he appeared on posters for the bar and that his name was Mark with a a surname that sounded like “Siefker” (but not sure of spelling)

The gevi listing for Dan now has some of the info from this page, which it was lacking before. And he’s been added to the scene with Brad in Jobsite as well. But the specific question Woody asked in the other post has to do with this, at least I think it does.
These are the same guys but how did you conclude that Shawn matches up with the Dan name from Jobsite? Aside from the similarity in their last names is there another source that ties him to being Dan (as opposed to any of the 20 or so other guys from that film, aside from the most obvious ones). I think that was what he meant in his comment.
hmmmmm – I think it was process of elimination (take all the cast, delete all the known ones… see who’s left) and name similarity? We did this so long ago, likely in the comments…
