Al Parker and Steve Taylor, in WANTED (1980)
just got this magazine, and believe it or not, my primary reason for nabbing it on eBay was the typeface. yes, yes, we all love Big Max (called simply MAX here – AKA Mike Spanner, Sam Pasco), and the 14 pages of him inside are quite lovely. but i just think the lettering is very cool. OMG! the publishers, MAN’S IMAGE, apparently had a t-shirt out back then, too!
so, not that my blogging A.D.D. doesn’t have enuf distractions to keep me from following up on other projects (posting the backlog of postcards i’ve received – thanks, guys, btw; updating director pages; adding a few pornstar pages….) – now i’ve decided i want to collect vintage gay t-shirts. chances of finding these are slim, so i’m at least going to post pics of some interesting ones. I must’ve looked through 20 copies of old IN TOUCH magazines yesterday trying to find this image to re-scan into a better (and larger) file size, but never re-found it. and now i’m thinking, which would be cooler, to have this shirt, or to have a shirt with this entire image, Gordon Grant wearing the shirt?
so, any of you guys holding on to some old t-shirts you want to send my way? or maybe just pics of you wearing them?

“really, BJ? Part 3? Part 1 on Sunday, we wait for 5 days and get Part 3? after complaining about old porn films with missing footage, you take a 10-minute scene and delete the middle 5-minute SEX PART of it just to show us the emotional and historical significance?”
well yes; yes I did. if you wanna see the entire uncut 10 minutes, beg me!
you know what else i like? the homophobe guy is totally a “GAGE MAN” in his looks, and we see him several times before he speaks, leading us on to think we’d see this guy have sex, right? just like that other stud in the earlier part of the scene, who watches Fred Halsted pick up the couple in the other side of the bar, but we never see him again!
