Donnie on Fire Island

This Donnie Russo interview has been sitting in my drafts folder for I don’t know how long. Say what you will about him over the years, too much this, not enough that, BUT – I bet he’d be awesome to just hang out and talk….

“And to look back, and to think that my name would become world recognizable; that blows my mind. And the second thing that blows my mind, I’d really like to know how much cum has been dropped about me. Gallons wouldn’t even begin.”

Adam Adams

who you may remember from such films as:

  • Bedtime Story (1979) AKA Pier Pals
    – contained in BULLET Videopac #7 –

oh. hmmmm. one (known) film. hmmm

Well, if you’re going to do only one film, do it with super hung Ed Wiley (Myles Longue to some of you!)
Ed Wiley and Adam pick each other up on Manhattan’s abandoned piers, feel each other out and head back to an apartment. There they 69 and rim each other until Ed docks his prick into Adam. They hose themselves down with man juice and relax as they snuggle up to each other.”

(my apologies, haven’t perfected how to convert DVD to mp4, and missed last 55 seconds of the film! oops! but you get the important stuff, not to worry)

Adam seemed to have worked with just one other model, in print only, Dak (who appeared in a solo as “CHAD” found in a video compilation called Singlehanded – you can guess the them; his only non-Target film, I believe made for Brentwood) – but I digress! Odd that I have not (yet) found Adam in any of the official Target issued magazines, but in a couple of later-issued ones – and special super thanks to JohnnyLlama for his help locating these!

magazines

  • Action Pak w/Ed Wiley
  • Ten Inch Tools w/Dak – only about 4-5 pages
  • also in a photoset with Dak (PN-03) and slide Set (SN-03) – 1976

Bob Shane

who you may remember from such films as:

Bob Shane was my vision of what a gay New Yorker would look like before I moved here; the mustache most of all! The films above, I have some hesitancy about the dates, as I thought his first film was Heatstroke, and I thought the Mac Larsen films (like Cell Block #9) came out after that. That’s a topic for another post. Speaking of other posts, a decent one on Forbidden Portraits is buried somewhere in the drafts folder (as this one was). You all probably know that his lover was Roy Garrett, and Bob appeared in no film without Roy (although one of Bob’s best performances was in Heatstroke, the sex club scene, and he didn’t perform sexually in that film! – well, maybe in an orgy scene? Note the publicity shot in Skinflicks at top of this page is for a 10-page spread from Heatstroke!) Roy being who actually got Bob into the profession. But I digress. My fave performance was in Red Ball Express, in the “fire house” (in quotes because they wore construction helmets, not fireman’s gear!) when they had sex in the kitchen and the fire alarm goes off as one of them is coming – ahhhh, Joe Gage and his excellent touches. I have 5 of the 6 films he appeared in (all but Young Ones, which I can’t even recall seeing – but it’s a Bob/Roy scene, so I must get my hands on a copy!) Oh wait, maybe it’s the scene in Tough Guys, where Bob plays a burglar (burglarizing Jeff Stone as he works out in leather) but is foiled by Roy, and is “forced” to have sex. Yeah, that’s up there, too!

  • BRONC (March 1982 ) photo-spread with Roy (cover + 45 pages)
  • Honcho (November 1982 – w/Roy)
  • Torso (February 1983 – cover)
  • Manshots Vol. 1 No. 7 ( Aug. 1989)
  • Manshots Vol. 4 No. 6 (Aug. 1992) “Whatever Happened To: Roy Garrett” (Interview)

The above will need to be updated, so anyone with info on more Bob Shane magazine appearnaces, let me know. See the HONCHO pics below? That’s the quality of the photos/magazine, not my scanning! grrrrrr – such potential to be so good!

HY CHASE (to do)

Hy Chase, a photographer from the 1970’s, who I’ve come across most often in IN TOUCH magazine, has very little info online. I’ve had his name in my drafts folder (which is back up to 89!), and this is my “place holder” to remind me to do more research. Alas, I sold this publication in 2004!

The Bike Jacker

DAN KENNEDY, who you may remember from such films as:

  • The Bike Jocker (1978?) NF-108
  • found in the collections Fistsfull, and The Jock (both are collections of solos)

“Some people get off on the strangest things. Imagine being in love with a bike! But here it is—leather, chrome, power, sweat and a very sexy big dick.”

oh. one film. arrrrggghhhh!

THAT cock, one film, solo. sigh.

who you may remember from such magazines as:

  • In Touch No. 30 (Jul.-Aug. 1977) – (thanks, GEVI!)
  • SOLO presents DAN KENNEDY (1978)
  • Male Annual 1 (1980) 6 pages of Dan
  • Leather and Levi Guys No. 4 () (looks like pics from SOLO

might only be those two magazines (and an occasional pic or two in a MANDATE or HONCHO) – the first, from 1978, has 3 photo sessions – At Home, The Bike Jocker, and On The Job. The Bike Jocker, of course, is the only one corresponding to a film; His 6 pages in Male Annual 1 are most likely from the first magazine, and that origianl 1978 publication, and the film, may well be all we will have from Dan Kennedy.
