I wish this was better quality – awesome find, from a 1980 calendar – probably MANDATE HONCHO – I think the scanning was fine, but the printed image is a bit out of focus?

Some years back these pics puzzled me (are these from a film?) Some may have figured this out from previous posts that I am actually a bigger fan of Bob Shane than Roy (probably that scene in Heatstroke; maybe just the ‘stache; could be his meatier cock… ). Interestingly, I don’t think Bob was in any film that Roy was not; Roy made perhaps 12-13 films, of which Bob was in 6.

And yes, I finally got my hands on a hard copy of the magazine – BRONC March 1982 – The Mercenaries – and it’s amazing. Photography by Phil Flasche . I’m sure there was no film made, even though it certainly has a very Joe Gage Oil Rig #99 look to it. It’s a Blueboy publication, btw.
sharp eyes will notice there’s a 3rd body in there – perhaps for another post? Maybe just scan the entire damn mag for my devoted readers (I luvs all 4 of you!)?

I’ve been meaning to link to this article for months, if not longer; alas, stuck in the drafts folder no more!
A personal account of meeting Richard Locke in the 1990’s at something called The Billy Gathering, and several times since, until 1996 when Richard passed. I love this early line in the beautifully written acount –
“I certainly wasn’t sure whether I actually wanted to meet him or just look at him, preferably from a distance.”
– I imagine I would’ve felt a similar awe-respect if I had been lucky enough to have seen Richard in person. Click the link, you even get a few more pics, as well.

I could find no pics of any of them together, let alone all 3, so what the heck – been wanting to use that amazing CLAY RUSSELL pic above for ever (and if I could EVER get a hold of the magazine, or scans from….) and once I nabbed this preview clip and realized who else was in it – I realized I have very few pics of the others! As much of I am a fan of Clay, the few moments of Paul Strand on that sofa showing off his butt in this clip made me more interested in his scene than Clay’s; if you look at the link, you’ll see that Clay is paired with Tim Christy (and despite Clay retaining ALL his back hair for this film), I’m just not into Tim. Plot – these 3 play cards, relaying a sex story each. The finale you’d expect would be the 3 of them, right? and yes, you get to see them, slurping away on each other’s crotches… for….
less than 30 seconds! WHO WOULD WASTE THESE 3 IN THE SAME ROOM? My only guess/explanation is that the film of the 3 of them never got developed properly…. or maybe it’s yet another VHS version that had 3 of 4 scenes, and didn’t care. I suppose finding a review from the time might clarify.
