I just spent hours – HOURS I tell you – drafting a lengthy post about Blake Palmer (seen on the right, above, in color), even noting he looks a lot like Jared Benson (from El Paso Wrecking Corp. – seen on the left, in black and white, above); going so far as to digitize Steve Scott‘s 1984 film, Screen Play , so as to nab the Blake Palmer / Mike Braun scene…..

and as I’m watching Blake stroke his fat cock, I finally realize the pic I thought I had of him from a magazine posing with another man is Jared, not Blake! rats! I’d never seen Blake actually pose, let alone touch, another man, and this magazine was showing him doing it! (posing and touching, nothing else) – but, alas, I have rather found a rare photo of Jared, who is posing and touching with another man (besides Fred Halsted) and who may or may not be in something other than El Paso Wrecking Corp., because now my faith in myself is totally lost…. sigh

my guess is he worked for Target Studios first (dates for publication of photos range from 1979-1981) – but no films for them as far as I can tell; then Colt Studios – but not a lot of print /magazine work, until later in the 1980’s – with those 2 films listed above; and somewhere around then also for his one non-Colt film, 2 scenes in The Brig – which I think was filmed in 1981, but released in 1982. The COLT films are easy enough to find online, but I’ll cue up his The Brig scenes sometime this week. If I dig some more, I think I can find photos from Long Rangers. I do dig him best in the Target stills – probably the hair; possibly his partners Rod Mitchell and Jeff Cameron!
