Here’s an example of a good photo (one I can’t recall seeing elsewhere) but it’s a poor “copy” of it, as it’s something I nabbed sometime ago from an eBay auction, where it’s not scanned, but rather a photograph of a centerfold from a Roy Dean calendar from 1978.
In the fuller image below, you can see how it’s not flattened enough to photograph its best – but at least I know to keep digging for a better version –

it was just marked “NOVA” – but the style looks more AMG to me – but don’t know if he did any work for AMG (and yes, NOVA, COLT, Western Man… so why not AMG!) – maybe it’s the bright blue backdrop, maybe it’s the shiny balls…
Men Come First
director: Francis Ellie (1979)
A door-to-door salesman (played by Brian Granger) selling “marital aids” is featured in this late 70’s film (Men Come First) that used a good dose of humor. The scene where he demonstrates their main product, Forever Hard, is soooo funny! He actually stands, and balances himself, on the guys cock after applying the balm, to show how rigid your cock becomes. There’s another scene where one of two lovers just can’t seem to cum, and the salesman has them make love in front of him so he can analyze the problem. (This is the scene with Roy Garrett, his first porn film). As they are fucking away, he takes out a bottle-rocket like apparatus, sticks it up the guy’s ass, and of course, they cum like mad!
George Payne is in a “cameo”, a fantasy scene involving leather and a huge poppers box as a backdrop. This is the scene above.

I love this photo! but of course, I do not love the quality of it, it’s a bit blurry. Here’s why. As some of you may know, one source I constantly scan for “finds” is eBay – but most sellers don’t use a scanner, but a digital camera – probably a phone, and therefore many pics are slightly distorted (not flat) or fuzzy and out of focus. Recently, someone posted a whole bunch of Target and Colt photosets – with varying quality. BUT…. I downloaded them, as they are a good resource, a reference for me when I get to see 6 or 8 photos in their original set that Jon Target or Jim French was selling decades ago.
The seller might have the correct identification of a model, or I recognize him, or I take a look over at the TARGET STUDIOS page at Gay Erotic Archives (not to be confused with Gay Erotic Video Index) and do some comparisons…. There I learned that Dino has also been paired with Joe in “The Hayloft” photoset, and with Bob Fielding and Chuck in the “RAUNCH” photoset; and he appeared in Target’s JAVELIN #1 – all in 1975. But of course, that page isn’t all inclusive (but it is all awesome as a resource!) and then I take a look at Gay Erotic Video Index to see if someone has done any film work – and alas – Dino has! – possibly just this one appearance in a short called Screen Test, which may never have made it to VHS or DVD. And, interestingly, it’s a short with someone named “Rusty” – and THAT name is nowhere to be found on the Gay Erotic Archives page.
