From previous post of 19 years ago I recall that I must’ve heard/seen this video dozens of times at the porn theatre on 3rd Avenue and 13th, and always associated The B-52’s Legal Tender with that movie. But back in 2001, when I purchased a video copy of Making It Huge, none of the soundtrack was there! In fact, they had done such a poor job of re-editing with a porno-standard Casio-synth soundtrack, that all dialogue was off! An awful job, and I forgot to keep one of these bad copies for posterity. But check your own copy if you have one. Anyway, from what I remember, these are a few of the tunes in the movie:

  • Edge Of The Razor – STEPHANIE MILLS

Alas, even in this original better version, they got lazy, and re-looped the same 5-8 tunes throughout the movie – anyone interested in checking this out for sure to see if I missed any tunes, I can arrange a full movie download.

(not so) Strange Places

Strange Places… Strange Things!

pretty much 4 unrelated “loops” – except they are tied together by being located in “Strange Places” –

  • Manhole – David Ashfield and Michael Charles portray two maintenance men working in the sewer (and on each other!)
  • Scott Taylor plays a delivery guy with a damaged package, and customer Ivan won’t accept the package (of vacuum pumps) until it’s examined properly – the “strange place” is Ivan’s living room
  • Melchor plays doctor to Rydar Hanson.
  • Derrick Stanton and Tony Kennedy do it on a scaffold high in the air.

I love Al’s dry narration – but it doesn’t seem to match what we’re seeing! The music is great, by Red Wedding – wonder if
Dark Entries Records is considering working on a re-release (or likely, a first release) of Red Wedding’s music?

I know better than to purchase an EZ-Rider version of a porno – they always have missing scenes, or chopped up scenes / movies – or randomly extra scenes from another movie entirely. But, I think it was less than 10 bucks with shipping, and this little tidbit from Gay Erotic Video Index – In 2013, Toby recovered the rights to this video reedited some of the sound and added a documentary segment. Scene 3 was edited out. Scene 5 was added in (??). intrigued me. Above is scene 3, and I can’t figure out why it would get cut. Below is Scene 5, but seems too short. (it does have a coming out scene – kinda funny, but cute). But despite all that, what is terrible about scene 3 is that the poor dude can’t handle Michael Christopher’s cock! If the premise was that it’s his first time, then OK. It’s just oral, and it’s supposed to be his fantasy, but he looks soooo goshdarn unhappy!

Another mystery, when I sold it back in 2002, I indicated it was 59 minutes; the version I have now, same EZ Rider box, clocks in a mere 55 minutes; GEVI gives it 63 minutes, without referencing if that is the old (1983) or new (2013) version. I’m not buying the DVD to find out, but of course am curious if anyone who has it can time it. I’ve seen it for salw occasionally on eBay, and of course on Amazon.
